With the end of the past Olympic cycle (2013-2016)  many gymnasts retired. Melitina Staniouta multiple times world medalist was among them, her retirement left the first place in Belorussian team vacant.

Although many expected to see Katsiaryna Halkina as the top gymnast of Belorussian team due to the new code of points and to all the promising gymnasts who turned senior this year, that might be not so obvious. But let’s see this new generation closer, and don’t forget to pick your favorite in the post’s poll.

Alina Harnasko, silver medalist at the European championship with ball, since the beginning of the year she kept progressing her results. Her major achievement was the gold medal with clubs at Sofia’s world cup, with the same apparatus she also won the world cup’s circuit for the year 2017.

Yulia Isachanka, bronze medalist with clubs at Holon Europeans, she already left her mark in rhythmic gymnastics thank to her amazing pivots.

Recently Yulia was silver medalist in the all around at Pesaro’s international tournament. At Baltic Hoop Tournament she was second behind Filanovsky and won the gold medal with ball at the same event.

Julia Evchik, silver medalist with rope at Holon’s European Championship. She won the hoop final at Baltic Hoop Tournament and was bronze medalist at the same event.
