Aleksandra Soldatova wins the All Around of the first World Cup of the year, ahead of Ekaterina Selezneva and Linoy Ashram. Despite the mistakes with hoop during the first day, Aleksandra obtains the highest scores with clubs and ribbon and overcome teammate Selezneva. Dina Averina of Russia won a clear victory in the mistake-ridden individual all-around final at Thiais GP, but by far the best sight was Italy with its group.

Kiev Grand Prix 2018: The event finals

Selezneva and Sergeeva shares gold medals during Kiev Grand Prix Event Finals. Taseva brings home 2 more silver medals (ball and ribbon) and 1 bronze with clubs. Hosting country, Ukraine settles for the bronze medal with hoop taken by Olena Diachenko, who gets the access only to one final, due to the many mistakes in the all around. Rhythmic gymnastics of Ukraine is in a difficult period, that’s pretty obvious. If you got to see the likes of Ekaterina Serebrianskaya, Elena Vitrichenko, Anna Bessonova or Anna Rizatdinova, you left the World Championships in Pesaro with an Ukraine-shaped hollow spot.
