Despite they completely renewed their group, Bulgarian girls enchanted the audience with two amazing choreography perfectly executed, which made them win the all around gold. Italian girls supported by their home crowd, conquered the silver medal in the all around and 2 gold medals during the apparatus finals.
Russian group lost their hoops and hopes of being all around medalists due to a very unlucky execution. Although they ransomed themselves with a silver medal in the 2 ropes and 3 ribbons routine.
